This album features works by four American composers: Mason Bates, Damien Geter, Joe Jaxson and Zachary Wadsworth. Their works are Bound Away, Suite from Loving v. Virginia, Born in the Iron Grip and Letter to the City.
All four are strong works played strongly by the Richmond Symphony. These are live recordings from 2025 and 2026 to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
